2degrees has the most satisfied broadband customers

2degrees has taken out yet another top accolade – this week honored with Canstar Blue’s 2016 ‘Most Satisfied Broadband Customer’ award.

The award comes just six months after 2degrees officially entered the broadband market with the launch of its consumer plans last July. The company earned 5-ratings for almost all categories in the Canstar Blue survey.

According to Canstar Blue’s General Manager Jose George, it’s the first time since 2011 that a major telecommunications company has won top honours.

“2degrees is obviously a crowd favourite as it was the only brand to be awarded a 5-star rating in any category, let alone six of them,” says Mr George.

"2degrees’ mantra has always been about keeping things simple, all while remaining affordable. Consumers appreciate that 2degrees always goes the extra mile in offering the best connection available, and upgrading customers for free if a better connection becomes available in the future."

2degrees CEO Stewart Sherriff says the result clearly demonstrates 2degrees is having an impact.

“This is a fantastic result for 2degrees. The team works very hard to deliver a great network and service, so a ranking like this from our customers shows we’re doing the right thing in an extremely competitive market,” he says.

“Since our launch as a full service telco last year, our focus has remained on providing great value plans and exceptional service to our customers. We are delighted this has been recognised in such a short time since launch and that our customers believe we are the industry leader not only in mobile, but also now in broadband. We will maintain that focus as we extend our offer to the business market this year.”

The Canstar survey is conducted by Colmar Brunton Australia across a representative sample of 2,500 New Zealand consumers, and is based on 1992 broadband user responses.
