2degrees takes out ‘Mobile Phone Service Provider of the Year’ award for second year.

2degrees has been awarded ‘Mobile Phone Service Provider of the Year’ for the second year in a row by Australasia’s largest Independent Research company, Roy Morgan Research.

The prestigious awards recognise Kiwi brands across 24 sectors for having the best customer satisfaction, as rated by more than 12,000 New Zealand consumers.

2degrees Acting Head of Customer Care, Sam Edwards says the company is delighted with the award.

“We are very excited to be recognised once again for listening to our customers and providing an industry-leading level of satisfaction. Not only did we win the overall annual award but we also had the most satisfied customers every month of last year. We are passionate about our customers and providing great customer service and this award is something we are very proud of.”

Ms Edwards says 2degrees success is based on providing a complete end-to-end customer experience.

“Every interaction counts - from the moment they meet our sales people or walk into a 2degrees store, right through to when they call Customer Care or interact through one of our self-service channels. Our mission has always been to make 2degrees fairer and better for our customers and we will continue to focus on doing just that.”

The award is one of several the company has received in the last year for its service. Consumer Magazine recently named 2degrees ‘New Zealand’s Best Mobile Provider’ and the company was also named the winner of Canstar’s ‘ Most Satisfied Customers – Mobile Phone Retailers’ and ‘Most Satisfied Customers – Mobile Phone Carrier’ categories.
