2degrees goes rural
Partners with Farm Source as it ventures into heartland New Zealand

2degrees today announced a partnership with Fonterra’s Farm Source – and says it’s ready to support rural users increasing demanding telco needs.
“Farm Source is a trusted part of heartland New Zealand, and we are delighted to partner with them as we start to work with more and more rural businesses,” 2degrees Chief Business Officer Andrew Fairgray says.
Fairgray said 2degrees will be offering mobile, phone and broadband services through the Farm Source rewards programme.
“We’ve spent more than $1bn over the past 12 years to grow our award-winning network. With more than 1900 cell sites and 360 new rural cell sites through the RCG programme, we provide coverage to 98.5% of the places Kiwis live and work,” Fairgray says.
Fairgray says 2degrees has ensured all Farm Source members will see the value in its partnership, through a range of exclusive offers.
“With cost and inflationary pressures, getting the best deal you can on services is key. We think farmers will snap this up.”
Fairgray says the offers and commitment to the Farm Source partnerships shows that 2degrees is serious about rural NZ and its associated industries.
“The most important thing about telecommunications service is knowing you can trust it to work. For rural customers that aren’t sure about 2degrees, the answer is simple. Test us out, and is you aren’t happy, we’ll give you your money back,” Fairgray says.
“We have come a long way in the last 12 years, we are really proud of what we built across New Zealand – and we want people to give it a go.”
Fairgray says something every 2degrees customer – whether rural or urban, business or consumer – can expect is a great customer experience. We’ve built 2degrees on doing it better and showing we value every customer. This is what we mean by Fighting for Fair; we’re here to give you a great deal, increasing competition and challenging the status quo. And we believe that’s good for NZ Inc.”
