ERICSSON

Ericsson 5G Partnership to deliver world-class 5G across Aotearoa:

We are the only telco in New Zealand to use Ericsson’s world-leading mobile technology. Further differentiation will be realised by combining Ericsson’s 5G, 4G and 3G radio access network (RAN) and core network; optimised for a seamless customer experience.

In addition to enabling the 5G network build, partnering with Ericsson will also allow us to double 4G capacity, offering an even better customer experience.

COMMUNITY

Community Impact Report FY25

To keep 2degrees accountable, our Executive Leadership Team and Board have set a series of objectives to guide our actions and ensure we are making meaningful progress. Fighting for Fair is embedded into everything we do and informs our Sustainability and Purpose priorities.

The 2025 Community Impact Report provides a snapshot of how we tracked against those objectives over the financial year, which ran from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.

RE: MOBILE

RE:MOBILE:

Trade In Program: Being a member of RE:MOBILE, our Trade In program has helped to keep hundreds of thousands of phones out of landfills through refurbishment, reuse and sustainable recycling. This in turn helps to bolster the Sustainable Coastlines clean-up efforts. Our contribution so far:

  • 10,500 phones collected through Trade In.
  • 3558 phones collected through RE:MOBILE.
  • 99% of all phones collected through Trade In are given a second life.
  • Over $172,000 donated to Sustainable Coastlines clean-up effort.
