Anyone living in New Zealand can cast their vote for Emoji of the Nation 2026. Voting closes at 11:59pm 28th of July. You’ll need to be living in New Zealand and over 18 to be eligible to win. T&Cs apply.
Your vote goes into the draw to win unlimited 2degrees mobile service for a year. We’re giving away 5 x 2degrees Unlimited Data Pay Monthly mobile plan for 12 months.
Absolutely. Throughout the campaign we'll reveal the favourite emojis by region and generation, uncovering some very important national insights, so keep an eye on socials.
Once voting closes, we'll crown New Zealand's Emoji of the Nation 2026 and give it the recognition it deserves. If you're one of our unlimited mobile service for a year winners, we'll be in touch using the mobile number provided.
The Promotion opens at 12:01am NZST on Friday 17 July 2026 and closes at 11:59pm NZST on Tuesday 28 July 2026 (Promotion Period).
One vote per person. A person does not need to be a 2degrees customer to vote.
There are five (5) prizes available. Each prize consists of twelve (12) months of a 2degrees Unlimited Data Pay Monthly mobile plan, currently advertised with a retail value of NZD $80 per month (Prize).
Five (5) winners will be drawn at random from all Eligible Entrants after the Promotion Period closes.
The winners will be contacted on or before Friday 31 July 2026 using the contact details provided in the voting form.
If a winner is an existing 2degrees Pay Monthly customer, the Prize will be applied as an account credit equivalent to the monthly cost of the Prize plan for a period of twelve (12) months.
If a winner is not an existing 2degrees Pay Monthly customer, claiming the Prize requires the winner to open a new eligible 2degrees Pay Monthly mobile account.
Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the 2degrees Privacy Policy and 2degrees General Competition and Giveaways Terms and Conditions also apply to this Promotion.
