Do I need to be a new customer to sign up for the broadband with benefits offer?

Yes, this offer is only for all new customers who join us on any 12-month Unlimited Broadband plan. You can sign up online right now and if you’ve got a Pay Monthly mobile plan with us, you’ll also score $10 a month off your monthly broadband bill.

What if I already have 2degrees Unlimited Broadband?

If you’re currently on a fixed term contract, you’ll need to wait until the end of your term. After that, simply re-sign to a 12-month Unlimited broadband plan by calling us on 0800 022 022.    

What if I’m currently on a different 2degrees broadband plan?

To be eligible for our offer, simply upgrade to any of our 12-month Unlimited Broadband plans by calling us on 0800 022 022.

Already have an Amazon Prime Video and/or a Neon subscription?

If you’re ahead of the curve and already have Amazon Prime Video and/or Neon, don’t worry, you can still get 6 months on us. Just sign up to one of our 12-month Unlimited Broadband plans and we’ll send you an activation link for 6 months of Amazon Prime and a voucher code for 6 months of Neon on us. How do I activate my Amazon Prime Video subscription?

If you’re new to 2degrees Broadband, and your broadband isn’t connected yet, you’ll need to wait till we set up your broadband. Once it’s up and running and you’ve received your first bill, we’ll send you an activation email to get your Amazon Prime Video subscription set up.

If you already have Unlimited Broadband, you’ll receive the activation email when you re-sign to your new 12-month term and your request has been processed.

The activation email has instructions and a button to activate your Amazon Prime Video subscription. Simply click the button and it’ll take you through to Amazon Prime Video to set up your account.

You have 30 days to activate your subscription from the time you receive the activation email.

How do I activate my Prime Gaming subscription?

Once your Amazon Prime Video subscription has been activated, you just need to visit the Prime Gaming website; click the blue Try Prime button and follow the steps. You may see a pop-up that says, 'It looks like you're in a Prime Video only country', just click Continue to carry on. Then, when prompted, use your Amazon Prime Video login details to link your accounts and get busy gaming.

I’ve already got Prime Gaming, but want 6 months of Amazon Prime Video from 2degrees

If you’re already part of the Prime Gaming clan, don’t worry, you can still get this included in your Amazon Prime Video membership. Just link Amazon Prime Video to your existing Prime Gaming ID. Here’s how.

  • Go to gaming.amazon.com
  • Click on Try Prime
  • You may see a pop-up that says, 'It looks like you're in an Amazon Prime Video only country'. Keep calm and click Continue to carry on.
  • When prompted, use your Amazon Prime Video login details to link your accounts
  • Follow the steps to connect your Amazon Prime Video and Prime Gaming accounts

I signed up to an eligible broadband plan and didn’t get an activation email

We won’t send the activation email until your broadband is up and running and you’ve received your first bill. If you’ve just signed up with us but your broadband isn’t connected yet, you’ll need to hold on until we’ve got all our ducks in a row.

If you’ve received your first bill and you still don’t have your activation email, there are a few things you could try.

  • Check your junk/spam folder as it may have accidentally ended up there
  • Search for the email using the search function in your inbox. Maybe you just missed it? The subject line is ‘Your 6 months of Amazon Prime Video on us is ready’
  • If you’ve tried and still can’t find the email, call us on 0800 022 022, select option 9, and we’ll look into what’s happened

I’m having trouble activating my Amazon Prime Video subscription

If you’re having trouble getting your new Amazon Prime Video subscription working, here’s a few reasons things might not be going to plan:

  • Your subscription wasn’t activated on time. If it’s been more than 30 days since you first received your Amazon Prime Video activation email and you haven’t used it, your one-time activation button has expired. 
  • Someone may have already activated your Amazon Prime Video subscription. If you have a shared email account, ask anyone who has access to it if they already signed you up.
  • Do you already have an existing Amazon Prime Video subscription? No problem, either cancel this, hang tight until the end of your current billing month, then you can activate your new subscription or sign up with a new email address.

If it’s none of the above, and you’re still having trouble activating your subscription, call us on 0800 022 022, selection option 9 and we’ll look into what’s happened.

How do I set up Amazon Prime Video on my TV and devices?

What devices can I watch Amazon Prime Video on?

You can watch Amazon Prime Video through the website on your desktop computer or laptop, or through the Amazon Prime Video App on supported devices including smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, game consoles – see the detailed list of supported devices

What happens at the end of my 6-month subscription?

Don’t worry, we won’t cut your streaming short. Once your 6 months on us is up, unless you cancel, your subscription will automatically continue for a monthly fee of $8 which will be charged to your broadband bill. We’ll email you a reminder before your 6-month subscription ends, and you can cancel any time in Your 2degrees.

How do I cancel my Amazon Prime Video subscription?

You can cancel any time through Your 2degrees. Log in, look for the Amazon Prime Video section of your dashboard and click Cancel Subscription. Your subscription will stop at the end of your current Amazon Prime Video billing month. If you cancel your subscription during your 6 months on us, you will not be able to reactivate your subscription or receive the offer again. Cancelling Amazon Prime Video automatically cancels Prime Gaming.

You can’t cancel your subscription through your Amazon account.

Can I change my broadband plan during my 6-month subscription to Amazon Prime Video?

To keep your 6-month subscription of Amazon Prime Video on us, you’ll need to be on one of our 12-month Unlimited Broadband plans. If you move to an Unlimited plan on a different type of broadband connection – such as moving from VDSL to Fibre – then you’ll keep your Amazon Prime Video subscription. If you move to an ineligible broadband plan such as a wireless broadband or capped fibre and DSL plans, or take an account holiday, unfortunately you’ll lose your subscription.

Can I keep my Amazon Prime Video subscription if I leave 2degrees broadband?

Anyone is welcome to sign up for Amazon Prime Video, but if you leave 2degrees broadband, you’ll no longer be eligible to receive 6 months on us. We’ll cancel your subscription with Amazon Prime Video, and you’ll need to sign up with them directly to get a new paid subscription. Keep in mind that early termination charges may apply if you cancel your 2degrees broadband within your contract period.

What happens to my Amazon Prime Video subscription if I move house?

If you move to a new house during the 6 months on us, don't worry. If you remain on an eligible 2degrees Unlimited Broadband plan when you move, you’ll keep Amazon Prime Video and won't be charged until your original your original six-month offer is up.

  • You must be on a 12-month Unlimited Broadband plan to be eligible for the offer.
  • Amazon Prime Video on us for 6 months is valid for 12 months after the date of activation.
  • You have 30 days from the date you receive your activation email to activate your Amazon Prime Video subscription.
  • One new Amazon Prime Video subscription per eligible 2degrees broadband plan connection.
  • If you have an existing Amazon Prime Video subscription, you’ll need to cancel this and start again with a new account to get the offer.
  • You can cancel your Amazon Prime Video subscription at any time.
  • Cancelling Amazon Prime Video automatically cancels Prime Gaming.
  • Early termination charge applies if you disconnect your 2degrees broadband before the end of your broadband term.
  • After 6 months from your activation of Amazon Prime Video, the standard monthly charge for Amazon Prime Video of $8 will apply, and we will automatically add the charge to your 2degrees broadband bill unless you cancel.

Setting up and managing your Neon subscription

What do I get with my Neon subscription?

A Neon subscription gives you access to loads of hit TV shows and blockbuster movies which you can stream on two devices at a time, and in High Definition when available. You’ll also be able to download selected content and watch it on the go offline. A Neon subscription does not include pay per view movie rentals which are available for purchase through Neon.

How do I activate my Neon subscription?

If you’re new to 2degrees Broadband, we’ll send you an email with a voucher code once your broadband is up and running and you’ve been billed for the connection. If you already have Unlimited Broadband, you’ll receive the email with the voucher code when you re-sign to your new 12-month term and your request has been processed.

To redeem the voucher and activate your Neon subscription, simply follow the steps below:

New to Neon?

  • Head to the Neon website and sign up to a Monthly Neon Subscription.
  • Create your account and copy and paste your unique voucher code
  • Add your debit or credit card details to complete your account set up. A $1 hold transaction is used to authenticate your account and will be refunded automatically.
  • Click Start Subscription and your 6 months of Neon on us is good to go. You’ll also get a confirmation email from Neon that your voucher has been applied and the date.

Already have a Neon subscription?

  • Log in to your Neon account
  • Go to My Account then select Subscription & Payments
  • Under the Voucher section, select Add Voucher, then copy and paste your unique voucher code and click Redeem.
  • Your 6 months of Neon on us will kick-in from the end of your current subscription period and you’ll get an email from Neon to confirm the voucher has been applied.

You’ll have until 17 September 2022 to redeem the voucher. After this date, you will not be able to redeem 6 months of Neon on us.

How do I cancel my Neon subscription?

You can cancel your Neon subscription any time through the Neon website. Just log in to your Neon account and go to ‘My Account’.  Choose 'Subscription & Payment' and under 'Manage your subscription', click 'Cancel'.

If you cancel your subscription during your 6 months on us, you won’t be able to reactive it or receive the offer again.

Can I keep my 6-month Neon subscription if I change my broadband plan, move house or leave 2degrees broadband?

Yes. If you decide to change your broadband plan, move house, or leave 2degrees after you’ve redeemed your Neon voucher code, you’ll get to keep your 6-month Neon subscription.  Keep in mind that early termination charges may apply if you cancel your 2degrees broadband within your contract period.

Things you need to know about your 6 months of Neon on us

  • You must be on a 12-month Unlimited Broadband plan to be eligible for the offer.
  • ‘Neon on us for 6 months’ is valid for 6 months after the date of activation.
  • Voucher must be redeemed by 17 September 2022. If you don’t activate your Neon subscription by the expiry date, you will forfeit the voucher.
  • Only one 6-month Neon subscription is available per eligible 2degrees broadband plan connection.
  • You can cancel your Neon subscription at any time.
  • Early termination charge applies if you disconnect your 2degrees broadband before the end of your broadband term.
  • If you want to keep enjoying Neon after your 6 months on us is up, your subscription will automatically revert to a paid subscription through Neon. However, we are working on being able to bill you directly for your Neon subscription – we may be in touch with you in future to offer you this option.
  • After 6 months from your activation of Neon, the standard monthly charge for Neon of $15.99 per month will apply.
  • All queries relating to Neon or content should be directed to Neon’s help and support directly.
  • Not available on 2degrees Business, Home Wireless, or Rural Broadband plans.
  • Offer is not redeemable or refundable for cash, and cannot be re-sold.
  • 2degrees offers no refunds for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers.
  • Total value of voucher will be redeemed in full at time of redemption.
