Business Mobile Plan Changes 1 October 2026

Why are my Business Mobile plans changing?

We're always looking for ways to ensure we're delivering the best possible value for our customers. In April 2026, we introduced an updated range of mobile plans designed to better support the changing needs of businesses, including growing demand for mobile data and connectivity.

As a result, we're now moving customers from older legacy plans that are no longer available to our current range of mobile plans. Because these legacy plans are no longer available and are being retired, each affected connection will be moved to a suitable replacement plan, factoring in its current plan benefits and entitlements.

When do these changes start?

The plan changes are effective 1 October 2026. 

When will I see these changes on my bill and My 2degrees?

The Business Mobile plan changes will be visible in My 2degrees after 1 October 2026, and you’ll see these changes on your next bill after the 1 October, including any pro rata adjustments based on your bill cycle.

Which Mobile plans do these changes apply to?

These legacy plans are being retired, affected connections will be moved to a suitable replacement plan, factoring in its current plan benefits and entitlements.

Business Choice Small, Large and Extra Large

• Business Choice Small (7GB) plan will move to Business 10GB plan. The plan price will increase to $42 ex GST per month, and Carryover Data will increase to 10GB per month.
• Business Choice Large plan (80GB) will move to Business 100GB. The plan price will increase to $62 ex GST per month, and Carryover Data will increase to 100GB per month. Any Team plans you have or add after 1 October will include 100GB Carryover Data per month and the plan price will be $32 ex GST per month.
• Business Choice Extra Large plan (30GB) will move to Business 100GB. The plan price will decrease to $62 ex GST per month, and Carryover Data will increase to 100GB per month. Any Team plans you have or add after 1 October will include 100GB Carryover Data per month and the plan price will be $32 ex GST per month.

Business Choice 100GB Endless, 150GB Endless and Business Choice Unlimited (including Team plans)

• Business Choice 100GB Endless plan will move to our Business 100GB plan. The plan price will increase to $62 ex GST per month. Any Team plans you have or add after 1 October will move to our Business Unlimited Team plan and the plan price will increase to $32 ex GST per month. ^
• Business Choice 150GB Endless plan will move to our Business Unlimited plan. The plan price will increase to $75 ex GST per month. Any Team plans you have or add after 1 October will move to our Business Unlimited Team plan and the plan price will increase to $40 ex GST per month. ^
• Business Choice 150GB Endless Data plan will move to the Business Unlimited Data plan, and the plan price for current plans will increase to $35 ex GST per month. Any new Business Unlimited Data plans you add after 1 October will be $35 ex GST per month. ^
• Business Choice $80 Unlimited plan will move to the Business Unlimited plan. The plan price will decrease to $75 ex GST per month. Any Team plans you have or add after 1 October will be $40 ex GST per month.
• Business Choice $70 Unlimited plan will move to the Business Unlimited plan. The plan price will increase to $75 ex GST per month. Any Team plans you have or add after 1 October will be $40 ex GST per month.

^The entitlement will change from a limited amount of maximum speed data (reduced to 1.2Mpbs when either 100GB or 150GB of data is exceeded per billing month) to unlimited maximum speed data.

Business Link, Team Share Add-on, and Business Choice Share

The following plans and add-ons will no longer be available from 1 October 2026.

Business Link

• Any connections that are not Team Share beneficiaries will be moved to our Business 4GB Data plan and the plan price will increase to $10 ex GST per month.

Team Share Add-on

• Connections that are currently Team Share beneficiaries will no longer be able to receive calling and texting allowances from the connection with the add-on.
• Any connections on Business Link plans that are Team Share beneficiaries will move to our Business 3GB plan, and the plan price will increase to $30 ex GST per month. This will allow users on these connections to continue to make calls and send texts after the withdrawal of the Team Share add-on. 

Business Choice Share

• Any connections on a Business Choice Share plan will move to our Business 3GB plan and the plan price will increase to $30 ex GST per month.

Business Freedom 

• Any connections on the Business Freedom plan will move to our Business 3GB plan, and the plan price will decrease to $30 ex GST per month. 
• Any existing connections on Business Freedom Plus & Business Freedom Ultimate plan will move to our Business 10GB plan, and the plan price will decrease to $42 ex GST per month. 

Carryover data plans 

• 2GB Carryover Data or 2GB NZ Carryover Data plan will move to our Business 4GB Data plan, and the plan price will increase to $10 ex GST per month
• 5GB Carryover Data plan will move to our Business 10GB plan, and the plan price will increase to $42 ex GST per month. 
• 7GB Carryover Data plan will move to our Business 10GB plan, and the plan price will increase or decrease (depending on your current plan price) to $42 ex GST per month.
• 8GB NZ Carryover Data plan will move to our Business 10GB plan, and the plan price will increase to $42 ex GST.
• 15GB Carryover Data plan will move to our Business 40GB Data plan, and the plan price will decrease to $20 ex GST per month.
• 15GB Carryover Data Large plan will move to our Business 100GB Data plan, and the plan price will increase to $62 ex GST per month. Any additional 15GB Carryover Data Large plans on the same account will move to our Business 100GB – Team plan and the plan price will decrease to $32 ex GST per month.

Business Select plans

• $35.83 Business Select Plan will move to our Business 3GB plan, and the plan price will decrease to $30 ex GST per month. 
• $45.83 Business Select Plan will move to our Business 10GB plan, and the plan price will decrease to $42 ex GST per month. 
• Any connections on $60.83, $100.83 and $125.83 Business Select Plans will move to our Business 100GB plan, and the plan price will decrease to $62 ex GST per month.

Other Legacy Carryover plans

• $29.95 Carryover Plan will move to Business 3GB plan, and the plan price will increase to $30 ex GST per month.
• $65 Carryover Plan will move to Business 100GB. The plan price will increase to $62 ex GST per month, and Carryover Data will increase to 100GB per month. Any Team plans you have or add after 1 October will include 100GB Carryover Data per month and the plan price will be $32 ex GST per month.
• The following plans will all move to Business 10GB, and the plan price will be $42 ex GST per month. (price increase/decrease varies by plans below)

  • $49.95 Business Carryover Plan

  • $35 Pay Monthly Plan
  • $26.09 Carryover Plan
• $40 Unlimited Group plan will move to Business Unlimited Team plan, and the plan price will continue to be $40 ex GST per month.

Why are my current plan prices different for similar plans across my account?

Our plan options and pricing have changed over time. This means you may have similar services on your account with different pricing, depending on when additional connections were added.

These plans are no longer offered and will be retired as part of this change.

What plans do the international calling and texting entitlements apply to?

• Business 100GB – including Team plans
• Business Unlimited – including Team plans

What destinations do the international calling and texting entitlements apply to?

• 300 minutes of calling per month to mobiles or landlines
• 60 text messages per month

Can I change to another mobile plan?

Yes, you can change to another mobile plan. If you change plan, you may lose any discounts / offers available on your current plan and you may be required to repay any remaining balance on Interest Free devices (see T&Cs).

Can I cancel my plan?

We’d be sorry to see you go, but yes, you can cancel your plan because of these changes. Please note that cancellations require 30 days’ notice prior to 1 October. Our plans are open term, so there are no early termination charges (unless you have received any special offers or credits that may need to be repaid). 

Keep in mind, if you are still paying off any devices on your account, any remaining instalments (and any other outstanding charges) will be charged to your next bill. Remaining instalments will not include Interest Free savings not yet applied. 

Do I need to make any changes to my automatic bill payment?

If we’ve set up the automatic payment for you via either Direct Debit or Credit Card payment, there’s nothing you need to do. We’ll make the change on our end and automatically deduct the correct amount. 

If you’ve set up an automatic payment directly from your bank account, you’ll need to update the payments to the new amounts, since we can’t do this on your behalf.
