Super Rugby Aupiki
At 2degrees, we believe in supporting women’s rugby on and off the field. This mission began with funding grants to help young girls make a more seamless transition into rugby. Taking this even further, we’ve also helped our young wāhine connect with Super Rugby stars through the Womentorship Program.
Evening the playing field
Through our Path2Greatness initiative in 2022 and the Womentorship Program in 2023, we have created pathways to success for our young wāhine to pursue their love for rugby.
Path2Greatness
In 2022, we gave out $5,000 grants to 10 schools across NZ to help remove the barriers young girls face when playing rugby by funding key areas such as uniforms, equipment or transport.
Womentorship
Through this program, nine schools and 182 of Aotearoa’s up-and-coming female rugby protégés got to spend a day learning from their favourite Aupiki stars.
