Update to our Network Status Pages

We're making it easier for you to stay informed about what’s happening on our network. To improve your experience, we’re bringing all network status updates together in one place. This means the current Network Status page will soon be retired.

What's Changing?

From now on, all outage and maintenance updates will be available on our new unified page: 2degrees Network Status.

Here's what you can expect:

Current Network Status

We update this page from Monday to Friday with all planned outages and major incidents that may be impacting multiple business customers.

Network Maintenance and Fault Restoration:

  • Network Operations Centre (NOC) is operating in a BAU state and is monitoring all activities closely during this period.
  • Standard network fault escalation process applies through your normal business unit faulting paths.

Unplanned Work Notifications:

23/10/2025 A loss of core infrastructure in the Dunedin area is causing failed / degraded service for broadband and fixed line services. This is under investigation by technical teams and the vendor, however restoration efforts are delayed by weather events. Services have been switched to backup BNGs. Root cause is under investigation with vendor.
