When are these changes happening?
The amalgamation and name change are happening on 3 November 2025.
What is an “amalgamation”?
An amalgamation is the legal merging of assets and liabilities of two or more companies into one amalgamated company.
In this case, all assets and liabilities (including all contracts) of Two Degrees Mobile Ltd, Two Degrees New Zealand Ltd, Two Degrees Networks Ltd, Vocus (New Zealand) Ltd and/or any of the other amalgamating companies will legally become assets and liabilities (and contracts) of 2degrees NZ Ltd.
What companies are amalgamating under 2degrees NZ Ltd?
The following group companies will amalgamate (merge) into 2degrees NZ Ltd:

Has there been a change in the ownership or management of 2degrees?
No. There has been no change in the ownership or management of 2degrees.
The purpose of the amalgamation and name change is to simplify the 2degrees group structure (i.e. fewer trading entities, and a company name that better aligns with our brand and service offering).
My business relationship is already with Two Degrees Mobile Ltd – is there anything I need to do?
All you need to do is update our name in your accounts payable system to 2degrees NZ Ltd.
All other details (e.g. GST number, NZBN/company number etc) will stay the same.
My business relationship is with Two Degrees Mobile Ltd, Two Degrees New Zealand Ltd, Two Degrees Networks Ltd, Vocus (New Zealand) Ltd and/or one of the other amalgamating companies – what do I need to do?

Do I need to change the bank account I pay into?
No. Bank account numbers will not change as a result of the amalgamation.
The account name for all relevant bank accounts will be updated to 2degrees NZ Ltd.
