How do I reset my modem?

Resetting your modem is one of the best ways to start troubleshooting issues with your internet connection. Follow the steps below, making sure to unplug your modem for the full 60 seconds. Please follow steps exactly as described, do not unplug random cables at the back of your modem.

Step 1: Turn off power at the wall

Step 2: Unplug your modem from the wall for 60 seconds*

*Less than 60 seconds and the network will not notice. This is very important.

Step 3: Plug your modem back into the wall

Step 4: Turn back on at the wall

Reset modem - step 4

Step 5: Wait to see if it works within a few minutes

Reset complete
