Retired Business Select Plan ETCs and PTCs - 20 September 2017
These specific terms and conditions apply to you if you have signed up to a Business Select Plan prior to 20 September 2017. These terms and conditions apply in addition to the Business Terms and Conditions, Business Account Terms & Conditions, and any other specific terms and conditions that may be applicable to a Plan under a Business Account. (together, the Applicable Terms and Conditions).
- These specific terms and conditions will prevail in the case of inconsistency with the Applicable Terms and Conditions.
- Unless stated otherwise, words and phrases in these specific terms and conditions have the same meaning given to them in the Applicable Terms and Conditions.
- Early termination charges are not subject to GST.
- Plan transfer charges are subject to and inclusive of GST.
Early termination charges
- Unless stated otherwise, we will require you to pay early termination charges where your Business Select Plan on a 24 month term is terminated either by you or us in accordance with the Applicable Terms and Conditions.
- The amount of the early termination charge that you will be required to pay in respect of your terminated Business Select Plan is calculated as follows:
The monthly Plan Charge (including GST) of your Business Select Plan multiplied by the number of months remaining on the term of your Business Select Plan as at your final Billing Date multiplied by 40%, provided that if this amount is less than the minimum amount stated in the table below you will be required to pay the minimum amount.

For example, if you terminate your $85.83 Business Select Plan in the third month of a 24 month term, your early termination charge will be $829.08 (being $98.70 (incl. GST) x 21 x 0.4).
However, if you terminate your $85.83 Business Select Plan with five months remaining on your 24 month term, your early termination charge will be $210, being the early termination charge minimum amount stated in the table above (due to $98.70 (incl. GST) X 5 X 0.4 = $197.40 being lower than the minimum amount stated).
- For the avoidance of doubt, no early termination charge applies to the cancellation of a Business Select Plan on a Freedom Term (or a month to month term).
Plan transfer charges
- Unless stated otherwise, if you change your current Business Select Plan on a 24 month term to another Business Plan you will be required to pay a Plan transfer charge as follows.
Months into term: 0-6 months
If you are changing your current Business Select Plan to another Business Select Plan within 0-6 months of your 24 month term, your Plan transfer charge will be the amount stated in the table below:

For example, if you are changing your 24 month $85.83 Business Select Plan to a $35.83 Business Select Plan in the third month of your term you will pay a Plan transfer charge of $850.
Months into term: 7-12 months
If you are changing your current Business Select Plan to another Business Select Plan within 7-12 months of your 24 month term, your Plan transfer charge will be the amount stated in the table above multiplied by 75%.
For example, if you are changing your 24 month $85.83 Business Select Plan to a $35.83.83 Business Select Plan in the ninth month of your term you will pay a Plan transfer charge of $637.50 (being $850 x 0.75).
Months into term: 13-18 months
If you are changing your current Business Select Plan to another Business Select Plan within 13-18 months of your 24 month term, your Plan transfer charge will be the amount stated in the table above multiplied by 50%.
For example, if you are changing your 24 month $85.83 Business Select Plan to a $35.83 Business Select Plan in the 14th month of your term you will pay a Plan transfer charge of $425 (being $850 x 0.5).
Months into term: 19-24 months
If you are changing your current Business Select Plan to another Business Select Plan within 19-24 months of your 24 month term, your Plan transfer charge will be the amount stated in the table above multiplied by 25%.
For example, if you are changing your 24 month $85.83 Business Select Plan to a $35.83 Business Select Plan in the 20th month of your term you will pay a Plan transfer charge of $212.50 (being $850 x 0.25).
General
- A plan transfer charge will not apply where you are transferring from a Business Select Plan on a Freedom Term (or month to month) to 24 month term Plan.
- You are not able to transfer from a fixed term Business Select Plan:
- to another available Freedom Term Plan;
- to a Business Mobile Data Plan (and vice versa);
- to a Business Connect Plan (and vice versa); or
- to a Pay Monthly consumer 2degrees Plan or Prepay.
- If you wish to do so, your current Business Select Plan will be terminated and you will be required to pay early termination charges in accordance with the terms and conditions of that Plan.
