Help with Prepay Pack Assist
If you’re just a few dollars short of being able to complete an Add-on renewal, Pack Assist will loan you a small amount of credit so you can keep on using your Prepay plan.
What is Pack Assist?
When you opt in to our Prepay Pack Assist service, we'll automatically lend you up to $5 to cover your pack purchase if you don’t quite have enough credit to renew your Add-on.
For example, if your $19 Carryover Combo is about to renew but you only have $16 Prepay credit, we'll lend you the extra $3 you need to renew the Combo. Then you'll pay us back with your next Top Up.
Pack Assist is only available on Prepay.
To opt in, simply text ‘Assist’ to 288.
How do I get Pack Assist?
You can opt-in to Pack Assist if you:
- Have been an active Prepay customer on our network for 45 days or more; and
- Have previously made a minimum of two successful Top Ups
If eligible, you can opt-in by texting ‘Assist’ to 288.
What happens to my Pack Assist loan when I next Top Up?
If you’ve made use of a Pack Assist loan for an Add-on renewal, you’ll pay us back the amount we loaned you on your next Top Up. For example, if we lend you $3 with Pack Assist, on your next $20 Top Up you’ll immediately repay us the $3 loan and be left with $17 credit.
Is Pack Assist available on Pay Monthly?
No. Pack Assist is only available on our Prepay plan.
Do I have to opt-in to Pack Assist every time I need my Add-On to renew?
No. You only need to opt-in to Pack Assist once, and then each time we will lend you up to $5 to renew your Add-on if you’re that little bit short on credit.
How can I check that I’m opted-in to Pack Assist?
Just text ‘Check Assist’ to 288, and you’ll receive a text which will tell you whether you’re opted-in or not.
I have Pack Assist, so why has my Add-on not renewed?
Pack Assist will only work if the amount of credit that you need to renew your Add-on is $5 or less.
For example, if you have $13 credit on your Prepay Account, but your $19 Carryover Combo is due to renew, Pack Assist will not renew this Combo for you because you need $6 to complete the renewal. However, if you have $16 credit on your Prepay Account, Pack Assist will renew your $19 Carryover Combo by lending you $3.
How do I opt out of Pack Assist?
Just text ‘Stop Assist’ to 288, and you’ll receive a text confirming that we’ve opted you out of Pack Assist. This means we’ll no longer lend you money if you are ever short on credit for your Add-on renewal.
