Help with Prepay Pack Assist

If you’re just a few dollars short, Pack Assist will loan you a small amount of credit so that your next Prepay Plan or recurring Add-on can renew.

What is Pack Assist?

When you opt into Pack Assist, we'll automatically lend you up to $5 to cover your Prepay Plan or Add-on renewal if you don’t quite have enough credit.

It’s easy to set up, giving you peace of mind so that you’re never off the grid. You’ll simply pay us back when you next Top Up.

For example,

Your $20 Monthly Prepay Plan is due to renew.

You only have $16 credit.

Pack Assist will lend you $4 so your plan can renew.

When you Top Up next month, the $4 is taken first.

In this instance, you would want to make sure you Top Up at least $24 to cover your $4 loan and the $20 for your $20 Monthly Prepay Plan.

To opt in, simply text ‘Assist’ to 233.

How do I get Pack Assist?

You can opt-in to Pack Assist if you:

  1. Have been an active Prepay customer and
  2. Have previously made one successful Top Up.

If eligible, you can opt-in by texting ‘Assist’ to 233.

What happens to my Pack Assist loan when I next Top Up?

In the example above, we loaned you $4 for your $20 Monthly Prepay Plan to renew. When you next Top Up, that $4 will come out of your credit first.

Make sure you top up enough to cover your Pack Assist as well as any additional Prepay Plans or Add-ons.

Is Pack Assist available on Pay Monthly?

No. Pack Assist is only available on Prepay.

Do I have to opt-in to Pack Assist every time I need my Plan or Add-On to renew?

No. You only need to opt-in to Pack Assist once, and then each time we will lend you up to $5 to renew your Plan if you’re that little bit short on credit.

How can I check that I’m opted-in to Pack Assist?

Just text ‘Check Assist’ to 233, and you’ll receive a text which will tell you whether you’re opted-in or not.

I have Pack Assist, so why has my Plan or Add-on not renewed?

Pack Assist will only work if the amount of credit that you need to renew your Plan is $5 or less. If you need more than $5, Pack Assist will not work.

For example, if you have $13 credit on your Prepay Account, but your $20 Monthly Prepay Plan is due to renew, Pack Assist will not renew this Plan for you because you need $7 to complete the renewal.

How do I opt out of Pack Assist?

Just text ‘Stop Assist’ to 233, and you’ll receive a text confirming that we’ve opted you out of Pack Assist. This means we’ll no longer lend you money if you are ever short.
