Calling and texting overseas
Our plans are pretty comprehensive, however, unfortunately there are some texts and calls that aren’t covered within your allocations. Luckily, we’ve made it easier to figure out how much it’ll cost to contact your friend or family member, no matter where in the world they are.
This page will provide information for customers located within New Zealand. If you are outside of New Zealand, and are looking for information on costs to text and call while roaming, head to our roaming help page for information.

Calls: Depending on your mobile plan, you may have Unlimited* calls to NZ / Aussie or have a specific allocation of Carryover minutes to call standard NZ / Aussie mobile phones or landlines (excluding premium rate numbers). Don't worry, if you have a limit on Carryover minutes, you will still be able to make Unlimited* calls to 2degrees numbers. All rates are inclusive of GST. All calls are charged per minute. Part minutes are rounded up to next whole minute.
Texts: All plans have Unlimited* texts to NZ / Aussie.
MMS: It is free to receive an MMS, but to send MMS incurs additional rates.
