Can I recycle old devices and modems?

Fighting for a Fairer future

Have old electronic devices lying around? Here at 2degrees, we're making it easier for you to do the right thing with your old tech. When we say "old tech", we don't just mean old phones. You can drop off your old modems, landlines, accessories, wearables and more.

We are helping make sure that your e-waste does not go to waste either by recycling or refurbishing these devices where possible. Alongside a number of third parties who assist us with our e-waste, we also use and are a proud member of RE:MOBILE.

What types of devices can I bring?

What you need to do

Sustainability is important, but so is the security of your personal data!

When dropping off electronic waste please:

  1. Sign out of all your accounts / applications
  2. We’d also recommend doing a complete a factory reset
  3. All collected e-waste will then go through an external data wiping process
  4. Bring in any of the e-waste items listed above. We’ll let you know in store if we can't collect your device, and give it back to you

Note: If you can’t turn your old phone, our external providers will still be able to wipe your data.
