The Mobile Network Trial is your way to experience the strength of our network completely free for 7 days, no card details or commitment necessary! As part of the trial enjoy 15GB of data, 500 minutes, and 100 texts. T&Cs apply.

You’ll need an eSIM-capable phone to run the trial. If this isn’t you, you can take up our Network Guarantee.

An eSIM is an embedded SIM card that’s built into your phone, watch or tablet that connects your device to the 2degrees network, instead of using a physical SIM card, everything happens digitally. That means you can take the trial instantly without having to wait for a physical SIM! Find out more about eSIM compatible devices here.

However if eSIM isn’t for you, we have the Network Guarantee so you can trial our network on your terms.

With eSIM, you can use two numbers on your phone, so you won't miss any calls or texts on your existing plan when you’re trialing the 2degrees network.

You can keep your current number while trying out our mobile network with eSIM – no need to swap or cancel anything. And if you decide to join 2degrees after the trial, we’ll help you change your number over, or with eSIM you can keep both numbers if that suits you!

You can sign up to our mobile services at any time during or after the trial. You can keep your current New Zealand mobile number when you join 2degrees, even the 021 or 027 bit.
