Why are your Business Broadband prices going up?
Costs from our suppliers are increasing so we need to increase our prices in order for us to keep delivering the services that keep your business connected.
Does the price increase apply to all broadband plans?
The $2.61 excl GST per month increase applies to our current copper and fibre plans:
- Smart ADSL, VDSL & Fibre plans (Unlimited data)
- Capped data ADSL, VDSL & Fibre plans
Are the prices of Wireless and Rural Broadband plans changing?
No, there is no change to the price of our Wireless Broadband or Rural Broadband plans.
Does the price increase apply to older plans?
Some of our older plans are not changing. But you might want to have a look at our newer broadband plans, as you may be better off.
I’m on a fixed-term plan. Does the price change apply to me?
Yes, the price change also applies to fixed-term plans. As part of the terms and conditions of your plan, changes can be made to your plan, including price changes with 30 days notice.
Are there any changes to the price of my Smart Line?
No. If you have a business landline with your broadband service, you’ll continue paying the same price for this.
Can I change to another broadband plan?
Yes, you can change to another broadband plan if it’s available at your address. Check out our broadband plans and if you’d like to change plans you can do this online at Your 2degrees. give us a call on 0800 022 249.
If I don’t want to pay more, can I cancel my plan?
We’d be sorry to see you go but yes, you can cancel your plan. You can cancel your plan within 30 days of being notified about the price increase without incurring early exit fees.
Do I need to make any changes to my automatic bill payment?
If we’ve set up the automatic payment for you via either Direct Debit or Credit Card payment, there’s nothing you need to do. We’ll make the change on our end and automatically deduct the correct amount, including the extra $2.61.
If you’ve set up an automatic payment directly from your bank account, you’ll need to update the payment amount to include an extra $2.61, since we can’t do this on your behalf.
