2degrees and Covid-19

Having the country shift Alert Levels means a few changes for our stores. While stores nationwide remain open at Alert Level Two, safe distancing will be in place. For those in Auckland, Alert Level Three means a few additional things to consider.

Remember, we’ve got plenty of other ways you can stay in touch. You can contact us on Facebook or give our New Zealand based customer care team a call. And of course, you can check us out at 2degrees.nz for everything from:

Finally, check out the Android or iPhone version of our app for even more ways to get in touch.

Visiting our nationwide stores in Alert Level Two

All our stores outside of Auckland (from Wellsford to Pukekohe) will be open at Alert Level Two, and we don’t expect any changes to our hours. Stores will operate with strict Level Two hygiene cleaning and sanitation in place, and we’ll also make sure there’s access to hand sanitiser stations instore.

Although we won’t need to operate contactless service, physical distancing will be in place, so we may need to limit customers instore from time to time. Finally, all our staff will wear masks and gloves.

Visiting our Auckland stores in Alert Level Three

At Alert Level Three some of our Auckland stores will close. However, a number will remain open, with a couple of additional guidelines to keep us all safe.

To visit a store, you’ll need to call ahead to make an appointment. You’ll also need to take a photo ID with you when you go to the store. We’ll meet you at the front doors or the pre-arranged meeting spot to manage your query and will maintain social distancing and follow Government guidelines for contact-less visits.

You can find a list of open stores in the Auckland area below – things change, so we’ll update this regularly while we’re in Alert Level Three.

And our handy store locator can give you all the contact details for your nearest open store. Please be aware that store hours are likely to differ from store to store, and won’t always be reflected accurately in the store locator. Remember that you won’t be able to access a store without an appointment, so please make sure you do call ahead to check hours and book.
