Established in 1932, Whangarei based Bindons Ltd is an automotive and engineering supplies Distribution Company, servicing trade and retail customers throughout New Zealand.
Director Allan Bindon, whose father founded the workshop, says the automotive parts and engineering side of the company has developed over many years with steady growth and a strong local following.

Allan says, “We’ve made many friends along the way and become a trusted, reliable supplier. We’re a ‘one stop shop’ where people find things they can’t find anywhere else."
In forming new business partnerships, Allan looks for companies that share these same values and qualities, and when it came to switching to 2degrees it was the overall package that appealed.

Due to customer demand, Bindons is opening a branch near Kerikeri, with three new members joining the staff. The flexibility of their Business Connect plan makes growing simple, says Allan, and Bindons’ strong growth looks set to continue.
Bindons’ e-commerce site is an increasingly important part of the business; with an extensive online store and plans to make their website mobile responsive, it’s vital they have a telecommunications provider that enables them to grow and utilise state-of-the-art computer systems.
“With 50,000 product lines it’s essential we have the latest technology to manage our inventory, to provide up-to-date reporting and to stay in touch with our large customer base,” says Allan.

Allan says has been great for their two sales reps out in the field, who use 2degrees data to access the internet, showcase Bindons’ website and monitor email orders as they come in.
